  13. Having just purchased a Retina 4M card, I of course wanted to use a
  14. >16 color WB. Imagine my surprise when I found it difficult to set up ;-)

  16. Here's the scoop:

  18. Using Retina softwre v2.3 (AGA EMUL)
  19.  
  20. In RetinaEmu using 16/24 bit WB screen
  21. In RetinaScreenMode using 256/.../16.8M color mode (tried them all)
  22. In prefs/screenmode, using 16 color screen (won't allow more!)
  23.  
  24. ScreenSize: 800x466
  25.  
  26. Using "groups" in both RetinaEmu and RetinaScreenMode
  27.  
  28. I have tried everything I can conceive, with no luck.

  30. My machine config:

  32. A3000/25
  33. Softkick 3.0 (39.82) (softkick machine)
  34. 10M fast / 2M chip
  35. >2G HD space (don't think this matters)
  36. HP Multiscan Monitor

  38. Possible conflicting software (????):
